Restricted Trials Park Opening for Members Only

SATURDAY 30th SUNDAY 31st BUMPY RE – OPENING INFORMATION

Anyone who experiences any COVID-19 symptoms must not attend.

Please read ALL of this message.

Bumpy have put measures in place to facilitate resumption of trials practice for BUMPY MEMBERS ONLY.

These measures must be adhered to in order for Bumpy to remain safe and following the government guidelines. Changes in processes have been made to ensure that everyone remain the required social distance apart through each session. It is your responsibility to keep 2m social distancing rule.

Access will be restricted to Bumpy members to allow adequate provision for social distancing between riders, it has been necessary to set limits on the number of riders on site at any one time.

Only 10 Vehicles will be allowed on site at any one time. If you would like to ride with your friends then please let me know and I will try to book sessions with consideration.

DO NOT TRAVEL WITHOUT PRIOR BOOKING – We are trialling a booking system for a restricted opening of our Trials Park for our members to come and practice, but only by following the information below.

There are two practice sessions per day: 9:00am – 12:00am and 1:00 – 4:00pm

Due to social distancing guidelines that will be in place, there will only be 10 vehicles per session.

There will be 1 hour in between to allow our volunteer staff to make sure everything is safe and ready for the next session.

You will only be allowed on site after previously booking via calling 01924470432; Giving membership number; Registration number of vehicle to attend and donation (suggested amount £15) payment via debit/credit card; (No cash transactions)

This is initially open to our existing members only and once government restrictions have been eased, then we can look into expanding our times and allowing non-members to attend.

Your booking will be checked as you arrive.

IF YOU HAVE NOT BOOKED THEN YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.

The access road gate will be closed during each session and only opened/closed 15 minutes before each session time start/end, so please do not arrive earlier than that as you will not be allowed to enter. If you need to leave before the end of the session time then please speak to a staff member who will then assist.

Car parking spaces have been widened with a traffic cone blocking every other space. DO NOT MOVE THEM.

Our RECEPTION will be CLOSED, so please do not enter the building, as there will be no other facilities available, no drinks, no snacks, and no Jet wash facility. The disabled toilet will be opened upon request.

Strict limits on the number of people per bike allowed to attend on a 1:1 ratio; (one parent, guardian or carer will be allowed to attend to support U16 rider)

DO NOT share transport with other friends. Riders must only travel with other members of their household who are riding and have been booked in.

DO NOT CONGREGATE with other members whilst on the park or in the car park.

NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED, so please do not attend with people who are not booked in to ride.

All attendees must follow social distancing of at least 2 metres apart whilst on our site.

PLEASE RIDE RESPONSIBLY – We would recommend that members only ride where it is safe to do so and within their personal capabilities, to avoid taking unnecessary risks. We do not want to put any additional strain on our emergency services.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL ADVICE AND INSTRUCTIONS from our staff members without question or hostility. We are all in this together and they are trying to do what is best for everyone in the interests of safety and guidelines.

Anyone found flouting these rules will be asked to leave and not re-attend until we are back fully open. You also risk ruining BUMPY having to close, which spoils it for everyone. As we learn and evolve these rules will be updated.

We want everyone to enjoy their little bit of freedom, so please follow our, and our governments, guidelines so that we can continue to provide our service. Together, we will beat this.

If you have any concerns then please call us on 01924470432.
