Watch out for BUMPY!

BUMPY Ltd (Registered Charity No. 702335) enjoyed a successful debut at the 4-Day International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park. With a rejuvenated format for the show resulting in an increase to 22,000 visitors, the team at BUMPY were inundated with people wanting to try their hand at Trials riding. The Trials Training Taster Sessions were oversubscribed on each of the four days with many unlucky people being turned away.

The thought of riding a trials bike appealed greatly to MCM advertising exec Linda Asplin when she saw the 'Bumpy' trials demo at the Dirt Bike Show. Linda was along asap, kitted out in trials gear and got to grips with the 125cc GasGas under the watchful eye of Julian Ford:

We are pleased to announce that as from September 2011 we are running the Motorcycle Service & Repair ABC Award Level 1 course at our purpose built facilities located at Howden Clough, Birstall.

The course is suitable for both the general enthusiast who would like to service and maintain their own motorcycles but it is also a nationally recognised qualification so it is therefore also suitable for those seeking re-entry into the employment market, but who has insufficient qualifications and/or experience to compete for work.

All we ask is that you have a genuine interest in motorcycle maintenance, as well as being practically minded due to the nature of the course.
