Just a quick note as promised to review my time with Bumpy training school after successfully passing my big bike test today!
I started a complete novice in freezing January completing my CBT with paula, and she also helped me pass my thoery by lending me her own training disc which was really nice of her. I moved on to the suprisingly easy to ride 500's and was coached initially by andy then later bill.
I found Bumpy school great to use, I felt like a person rather than a pound sign or statistic, the school is always welcomimg, with as much tea and chat as you can handle!
Initially I found Bill difficult to work well with but we soon ironed out any differences, and I felt i responded really well to his no mess about attitude, so be prepared to eat humble pie, and dont be easily offended!
The instructors have so much experience between them though so every session was a leap forward in getting ready for the test. And even at tea brakes and cig breaks it gives you a good chance to practice your manouvres.
So all in all a great place to learn if anyone on here is thinking about it!
A personal thanks to Bill for his patience and getting the best out of me on two wheels,despite his style this guy really cares about his students, and for the tenner he lent me when I forgot my wallet!
So thanks again to Bumpy and Bill, and remember he'll only look down on you if hes picking you up!
