BUMPY offers hands on approach to education

• We have well established courses which run throughout the year for young people age 13 plus.
• Delivering to a range of young people, many of those being the hardest to engage in education.
• We boast an outstanding pass rate, with excellent attendance. Our hands on courses are designed to build the confidence and give the self esteem required for a successful outcome, supporting all areas of the curriculum.
• Giving the experience of working on motorcycles: designing, building new models, creating the body work, designing the colour schemes and spray painting for a unique end result.

Practical Crafts: Level 1 A modular course built up over a minimum of 30 hours,learning the basics of motorcycle maintenance.

Practical Crafts: Level 2 Giving a more in-depth knowledge of the workings of a motorcycle over a 60 hour period.

Bike Body Care: Level 1 A modular course built up over a minimum of 30 hours, learning the techniques required using a M.I.G. welder and spray painting.

Spray Painting: Level 2 Developing your, using a range of products and understanding the need for a perfect finish. Over a 60 hour period.

Welding and Fabrication: Level 2 Recognise all types of welding processes and prepare a range of metals. Over a 60 hour period.

None Accredited Training

Ignition: Aimed at 15-16 year olds. This course is designed as an introduction to motoring; Teaching road safety to young people who are coming towards the age of being road legal. Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) can be incorporated if required. Internal accreditation offered.

Signal: Aimed at 15-16 year olds. A BSM designed course for pre road driver training. Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) can be incorporated if required. Internal accreditation offered.
