BUMPY (Birstall Urban Motorcycle Project for Youth) is a charity which was set up in 1989 to provide a safe, supervised place for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in riding motorbikes on and off road. Over the years, we have continually changed, adapted and improved our facilities to provide the services which our customers want, from individual and group training sessions for pre-16s in off road riding, to accredited courses in mechanics, and on road training from CBT to full test and advanced rider training. CBT, full motorbike test, Direct Access DAS in the Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Birstall, Morley, Batley, Dewsbury and West Yorkshire Area. Whatever your age, ability or background, BUMPY can help you get the most out of motorbiking, and most important of all HAVE FUN.    What are our aims? We were set up to give the young people of West Yorkshire a safe and legal place in which to ride motorcycles and learn to respect other road users. How do we support ourselves? We run a number of programs - On Road Training CBT, Direct Access, Advance Riding.
- We give off road tuition to young people from 6 to 16 year old.
- We offer membership facilities to the public who own their own bikes Trial / Enduro bikes / Quads (up to 100cc) to ride on our 9 acre site.
- We offer a wealth of experience to young people running OCN accredited courses across the educational authorities.
- We work closely with youth services around Northern England.
